AmplifyIM took bold, confident worship directly into the physical heart of the nation’s capital. We crossed the threshold of the Capitol building to take communion and sing the Doxology right inside the halls of political influence. Immediately following, we moved to the National Mall to lead a powerful hour of intercession at David’s Tent—the 24/7 prayer gathering on the D.C. lawn—where busy political commuters literally stopped on the sidewalk to experience the presence of God.

Our time in D.C. also focused heavily on uncovering the nation’s hidden spiritual roots. We historical-mapped spaces hidden right within the infrastructure of power—such as the private prayer chapel built by Harry Truman connected directly to the Speaker of the House’s office, and Thomas Jefferson’s historic church space.
