During a sobering Memorial Day service at the London Correctional Facility, our team stepped into a prison chapel heavily weighed down by isolation and grief. What began as a heavy, tear-filled atmosphere completely transformed as we blended prayer and worship. A profound breakthrough occurred during the altar prayer time: an inmate walked directly up to Aaron Swanger and requested prayer because he had miraculously seen Aaron’s face in a vivid dream the exact night before our arrival.
Unlike a typical short-term trip, our footprint in Ohio is an ongoing commitment. We continually step back inside these maximum-security facilities to provide a consistent ministry of presence. We are actively walking alongside these men, utilizing sustained discipleship to show the incarcerated that they are deeply known, loved, and never forgotten by God.
